Goodguys bounced into Raleigh, North Carolina, this past Easter weekend for two jam-packed days of hot rodding fun at their 10th Griot’s Garage North Carolina Nationals presented by TREMEC. The weather was perfect, the vibe was cool, and there were even Easter eggs hidden throughout the showgrounds on Saturday morning!
The show was shortened by a day, but it seemed like every bit of fun was packed into Friday and Saturday. The fairgrounds was filled with street rods, muscle cars, and vintage trucks for everyone to enjoy.
Goodguys selected four finalists for their Top 12 of the Year awards program, including Mark Shaw’s 1968 Hemi Road Runner as the Snap-on Muscle Car of the Year finalist, Jeff Johnson’s 1989 Mustang for the Griot’s Garage Muscle Machine of the Year finalist, Scott and Kim Crews’ 1967 GMC as the Dakota Digital Truck of the Year Late finalist, and Paul and Patti Nemeth’s 1951 Chevy for the LMC Truck Truck of the Year Early finalist.
The show concluded Saturday evening with a parade of over 75 award winners, followed immediately by a demolition derby that sent red clay flying and metal crunching to the cheers of excited fans. It was both different and fun way to end a great show!
Goodguys will be hosting their 15th LMC Truck Spring Lone Star Nationals presented by Old Air Products at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth this coming weekend, April 25-26, 2025.
