The third in a series that should be a long, ongoing run of Triple Crown of Rodding events over the years to come is happening in just a few weeks. September 5-6 at the Nashville Superspeedway (4847-F McCrary Rd, Lebanon, TN 37090), the Triple Crown of Rodding is expected to be the biggest and best event yet.
If you haven’t seen the official documentary on the Triple Crown of Rodding, click here. So far, over 210,000 rodders have watched it. If you can’t make it to Nashville, be sure to catch this year’s video, which will show the latest highlights and give an inside look at the fun at rodding’s top event.
This year is already shaping up to be the biggest in its “young life,” with over 3,500 entrants and more than 190 exhibitors, all of whom are automotive-focused. Remember, the event is open to all hot rods, street rods, street machines, classics, and customs up to 1972. Additionally, all American-made trucks up to 1998 are welcome.
This year’s entertainment is truly a showstopper with Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band performing a concert dedicated to uplifting and entertaining all of us, but especially our heroes, including first responders and service members. A special stage will be set up that will accommodate all those who wish to come from the Nashville area, as well as the entrants themselves, who, by being present, get a bird’s eye view.
The Triple Crown of Rodding trophies highlight the top aspects of our hobby, recognizing the Street Rod of the Year, Street Machine of the Year, and Street Cruiser of the Year, all presented by ARP. Among these winners, the top trucks in our hobby also receive awards for Truck of the Year up to 1972, Truck of the Year from 1973-1987, and Truck of the Year from 1988-1998, all presented by LMC Truck. There will also be a Top 30 and Elite 10 announced by CPP, along with the 14 Celebrity Pick Awards, which will be displayed in Winner’s Lane on Saturday morning.
Don’t miss out on the raffles for a new BluePrint LS 525hp engine ($10,000) and the brand-new Chevy pickup ($70,000) with classic Alloway Hot Rod Shop touches. MR
