Background on the Car: After searching for nearly two years for a suitable 1933 or 1934 Ford project car I met with Michael from Street Rods by Michael at the Street Rod Nationals. He convinced me he could supply me with a body from Show Me Rod & Custom and one of his chassis with Pete and Jakes components. This turned out to be my retirement project, mainly to keep me from driving my wife crazy and out from underfoot. She was a tremendous help when a second set of hands or advice was needed. The car was completely built, bodyworked, and painted in a little over two years in the backyard two-car garage by hot rod enthusiasts and friends. Only the interior was done by professionals.
