Custom Camino

TMI Products has announced the fourth winner of the 2025 TRIM Road Tour. The nationwide, multi-stop competition showcases the best TMI-equipped vehicles, leading up to the prestigious TRIM Awards at the 2025 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
The latest honoree, selected by TMI judges Jason Mulligan and Marcel Venable at TMI’s Cars and Clearance event in Corona, California, on August 23, was Scott Cerreta’s striking 1970 El Camino. The build features a complete TMI interior, highlighted by Pro Sport Low Back seats with the “AR” insert pattern in black, upholstered in OE-style blue metallic vinyl. Complementing the seats are modified TMI-molded door panels—originally designed for a Chevelle—that were adapted to fit the El Camino.
Craftsmanship and attention to detail set Cerreta’s El Camino apart. A custom headliner was commissioned to perfectly match the TMI AR pattern, while an aftermarket center console blends modern functionality with the classic upper dash for a clean, cohesive look. Tilting the seats forward reveals the powerhouse of the build: a custom audio system designed to shake the cabin.
Externally, the El Camino makes an equally bold statement. The badge-less body wears Toyota’s contemporary Cement finish, accented with satin black trim. Underneath, a Savitske Classic and Customs Touring Package delivers performance with 1-inch lowering springs and 17-inch American Torq Thrust wheels wrapped in Nitto NT555 G2 tires. Modern touches like LED lighting and Diode Dynamics Switchback Halos add the final layer of refinement to this award-winning ride.
