Looking Forward to Holley NHRA Hot Rod Reunion

See you in Bowling Green, KY, at the historic Beech Bend Raceway…if all goes well…!

Every hot rodder has a list of “do not miss” events, and that includes our staff. High on my list is The Holley National Hot Rod Association Hot Rod Reunion. It’s produced by the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum and held at the both famous and historic Beech Bend Raceway.

It happens on Father’s Day Weekend, which means June 18-20, 2020 (hoping all of us are healthy enough and life has settled down!) hundreds of vintage race cars invade historic Beech Bend Raceway along with a thousand or so very cool hot rods. The shaded grounds, historic track with covered stands and great drag racing make this a must-see event. Everything from gassers to top fuel take to the track while in the pits you can meet racers from the golden years of drag racing, wander through a swap meet with real hot rod parts and just enjoy a flashback weekend to the ‘60s that ends with a grand Cacklefest.  It’s an event put on by real hot rodders for real hot rodders.

If you have a bucket list, this one should be on it and the fact that all proceeds of the Reunion directly support the programs and activities of the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum makes it even better. We gathered some HRR photos from the past 10 years just to whet your appetite. Enjoy. MR
