Matt Stone, freelance journalist, author, broadcaster, former Editor, Motor Trend Classic magazine has been a professional automotive journalist/photographer since 1990. His specialties are history, design, and interview features. He enjoys anything with four wheels, though demonstrates a particular passion for sports, performance, and sports racing cars, and has been a car guy since practically birth, due to a rabid car guy father. He’s a Chief Class Judge at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, a judge at the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, and officiates and emcees at other first tier shows and events. He serves his profession as a past Officer and Board of Director member, and past-President of the Motor Press Guild (MPG) trade association. He's written and published 15 automotive related books over the last 30 years, and can still often be found with a camera in one hand and a keyboard (or a greasy car part) in the other.
