Brian Brennan (former Executive Senior Editor of Hot Rod magazine), brings a lifetime of experience to In The Garage Media, which includes being one of the founders (along with Tom McMullen and Tex Smith) of Street Rodder, Hot Bike, Street Chopper, Chopper Guide magazines, and worked on the staffs of Popular Hot Rodding, Off Road, 1001 Custom & Rod Ideas, and Rod Action (where he worked with other publishing greats Ray Brock, of Hot Rod and Petersen Publishing fame, and Dick Wells, of Hot Rod and SEMA fame). Most recently he spent years as the Editorial Director of the Street Rod and Performance Group for TEN Publishing, which included such brands as Classic Trucks, Super Chevy, Chevy High Performance, Vette, and, of course, Street Rodder. Brennan was inducted into the Hot Rod Industry Alliance Hall of Fame in 1999, Detroit Autorama Circle of Champions in 2010, a HRIA Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014 and Grand National Roadster Show Hall of Fame in 2014. His projects include a 1929 Ford highboy roadster, 1955 Chevy gasser, 1972 Chevy Suburban, 1968 and a 1971 Corvette, and a handful of “projects” where there’s too little time and resources to ever hope to finish but the gleam is still in his eyes.
