Todd Ryden grew up not too far from Woodward Avenue, surrounded by muscle cars and just about everyone he knew had parents involved in the auto industry. He remembers going to pick up a β70 SS396 in 1980 which served as a daily driver for the family and a few years later he scored his first car, a β56 Chevy. A trip through the GM ASAP mechanic program lead to journalism degree and fast forward a couple decades and heβs still wrenching and writing about cars (including that same β70 Chevelle).
